Raft Building is a great activity for groups, it is a team activity which we recommend for group sizes of 8 or more.

The idea is to have teams working together to construct a safe and sturdy raft from barrels, wood and ropes. Under the careful guidance of our instructors, the teams must construct a raft worthy of winning the race. Our instructors may give you some handy tips on knot tying and raft construction, but ideally it is down to you!

This is a great activity for the development of teamwork, leadership skills, planning and problem solving.

We can also tailor the session for young groups as part of an activity day as well as it being a great way to finish up a group activity day as part of a hen or stag party.

We will supply everything you need to build your raft and then it is up to you to build it!
The idea is to stay dry, but as you'll be out on the water you will be provided with a paddle, buoyancy aid and helmet.
